GK Ambassador & UFC London Headliner – Tom Aspinall

We are delighted to announce British UFC heavyweight contender, Tom Aspinall, as our newest ambassador.

Tom’s journey from following in his dad’s footsteps and training in the garage aged 7, to headlining at one of the largest events in MMA, personifies our core value of “nothing beats belief. And this is understandably why he is backed as ‘one to watch in 2022’ by both John Fury and UFC.

After winning the ‘performance of the night’ award back in September during the Brunson Till card, we’re sure you will be just as excited as we are to watch him fight at UFC London, on March 19th.

The Manchester born athlete showed how much the award meant to him when upon hearing the news, became emotional and burst into tears. In a post fight interview Aspinall explained

"I just cried and I think it's on camera. So, get the views up on that, make sure you share it. Honestly, for anyone who doesn't know, I've got a missus, I've got three small kids and I'm just trying to buy a house, man. I'm just a normal guy, trying to get by in this world and look after my children and look after my family. Man, it's like a dream, I appreciate it so much”

Marketing director Jon Tuck expressed “Tom emits the exact determination, grit and resilience we want to inspire and motivate our customers to achieve their personal goals, fitness or otherwise”.

We are very excited to see what is next for Aspinall, and to watch him fight this weekend, March 19th. UFC London is exclusively available to watch on BT Sport at 8pm GTM.

We hope you’re all having a great week so far, and we know whatever you’re doing that with the right mindset and resilience, you’ll smash it!
