Callum Simpson – Late Notice, Same Dominance
Callum Simpson made it two wins in just three weeks, stopping Elvis Ahorgah in emphatic fashion on the undercard of Adam Azim vs Sergey Lipinets at Wembley Arena.
Fresh off a dominant second-round TKO over Steed Woodall on January 11, Simpson stepped back into the ring looking to make another statement. Callum’s opponent Ahorgah arrived with bad intentions, throwing relentless power shots and talking up a knockout of his own. But when the bell rang, it was Simpson who delivered.
The Ghanaian came out swinging wildly in the opening rounds, but Simpson absorbed the pressure and responded with precision. As the fight progressed, Callum’s superior skill and power took over, landing clean shots and controlling the exchanges.
In the fifth round, Simpson unleashed a vicious combination that rocked Ahorgah, forcing the referee to intervene after a devastating right hand-left hook sent his opponent face-first to the canvas.
With another knockout win in the books, Simpson continues his rise as one of the most dangerous fighters in the super-middleweight division.
