GKW x Girlhood UK Run Club Event

This month we laced up and hit the streets of Manchester for our latest community event - the Gym King Women x Girlhood UK Run Club, hosted on Saturday 12th July. The morning was all about movement, connection, and celebrating the launch of our brand new 365 running range. 

In collaboration with Girlhood UK, a community built on creating new connections and uplifting female friendships, the event brought together an incredible group of women to share good energy, gorgeous vibes, and of course, show up in the cutest GKW outfits from the new drop.

Partnering with the amazing team at Girlhood UK, we brought together 50 incredible women from across the UK for a 5K run. We kicked things off at Caravan Restaurant, in Manchester where the energy was high, the atmosphere was filled with positivity, and everyone had the chance to select a set from our brand new 365 running range. The buzz around the event was unmatched – the response was incredible, in fact, that it sold out in under an hour.

With bright colours, breathable fits, and made-for-movement designs, the 365 collection brought both eye-catching design and workout-ready performance. As we hit the pavements of Manchester, winding through the vibrant streets, the energy was contagious. Whether girls came to meet new friends, enjoy some exercise, or just soak in the vibe, everyone brought something special to the run.

The Run Club wasn’t just about pace or distance. It was about creating a space where fitness feels fun, inclusive, and empowering… And with the shared energy from Girlhood UK and our GKW community, it turned into exactly that — a celebration of wellness in every form.

The post-run glow (and sweat!) was well earned, and we wrapped up back at our venue, Caravan, with time to cool down, connect, and capture the moment. There were so many laughs, new friendships formed, and a shared sense of pride in what we’d just achieved -together.
