Ross Edgley Conquers Iceland’s Coastline

Ross Edgley has just completed one of the toughest challenges of his life — swimming 1,000 miles around the coastline of Iceland.

For 112 days, he lived at sea, swimming in six-hour shifts through freezing water, heavy currents, and rough Atlantic weather. It was brutal from the start.

Every day brought a new challenge — cold shock, open ocean swell, sleep deprivation, and the constant battle to stay fuelled and focused. At times, his tongue bled from the saltwater. His wetsuit tore into his skin. His body broke down, but his mindset never did.

To even stand a chance, Ross had to train differently. He put on size to survive the cold and focused everything on endurance and recovery. No distractions. Just full commitment to the process.

After nearly four months in the water, he returned to where it all started — battered, swollen, and half-broken — but still standing.

Another record made. Another line crossed. Same mindset.
