We are looking for a merchandiser to work with our current team based at Gym Kings Head Office near Leeds to support the rapid growth of the business. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic fashion brand working across a key business function to learn and progress in your role within the fashion industry.
The ideal candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, and hardworking with an eye for detail.
You will be driven by a love for the brand, product, and analysis. The successful candidate will have prior experience working in a similar role ideally in fashion. They will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure, be keen to develop new skills and multi-task.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with buying to plan the range based on trend and analysis
- Managing their own area including OTB, WSSIs and highlighting opportunities or risks to the Merchandising Manager
- Preparing reports and analysing performance and forecast demand to optimise stock levels for both web, wholesale and marketplace
- Working closely with suppliers and logistics to track incoming stock and launches, communicating any updates to relevant teams
- Proposing sale and promotional lists based on the brand calendar in keeping with targets
- Present trade insights and proposing actions in quarterly performance reviews
- Contribute to range reviews and sign-off meetings to the management team
- Close working relationship with buying, logistics, sales and Ecom.
About You
- 3+ years of merchandising experience
- A confident communicator
- Strong excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- A quick learner who can process lots of information and prioritise actions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Looking for an established junior merchandiser who’s ready for a step up or a merchandiser who is ready for a new challenge
- A UK driving licence would be advantageous.

Hours
Due to the nature of this role, the hours will be full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday-Friday, although a flexible approach is required at times to meet the needs of the role.
