Function: Commercial Assistant

Responsibility: to assist with all admin across Merchandising, Sales & Buying

Reports to: Head of Buying & Sales

Location: Leeds (Colton) 2mins from Junction 46 – M1, 20mins from Leeds Station

Compensation: Dependant on experience

We are looking for a Commercial Assistant to work across both the Merchandising team and the Buying & Sales Team based at Gym Kings Head office near Leeds to support the rapid growth of the business. What you will be doing:


  • Tunning stock reports for the sales team 

Purchase Orders

  • Upload of POs to internal system (NetSuite)
  • Creating and sending barcode data to suppliers
  • Updating any changes in PO documents, supplier copy and the internal system  (NetSuite)
  • Purchase order raising
  • Setting up SKUs in the system  
  • Setting up new suppliers on the internal system
  • System description / pricing amends
  • Raising issues with NetSuite / Eureka / Team IT

Analysis & Reporting

  • Updating reports for merchandiser to review- linecards, intake sheet, WSSI, analysis by week
  • Updating ratios templates to represent the latest sales data


  • Pricing changes uploads to Netsuite
  • Closing down received POs in the system
  • Ownership of EAN/Fibre comp and Wash care report
  • Very Data sheet
  • AD HOC Admin tasks


Key Skills & Experience

  • Up to 2 years office-based administration experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Methodical in approach to work.
  • Ability to work cross functional on wholesale account and e-commerce
  • Take ownership of task from inception to conclusion
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • A highly organised self-starter with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Resilient with good problem-solving skills.
  • Basic excel skills – training will be given.
  • Experience is Netsuite would be advantageous but not essential.

Working hours: Due to the nature of this role, the hours will be full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday-Friday, although a flexible approach is required.

Location: This role is based at Unit 6 Temple Point, Bullerthorpe Lane, Colton, Leeds LS15 9JL. 2 minutes off the M1 J46. There will be a requirement to travel as part of this role.
