Location: Leeds (Colton) 2mins from Junction 46 – M1, 20mins from Leeds Station

We are looking for a Buying and Sales Executive to work with our current team based at Gym Kings Head office near Leeds to support the rapid growth of the business. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic fashion brand working across two key business functions to learn and progress in your role within the fashion industry.

The ideal Candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, and hardworking with an eye for detail. You will be driven by a love for brand, product, and fashion. The successful candidate will thrive from working in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure, keen to develop new skills and multi-task.

Role Profile:

  • Working cross functionally within the Buying & Sales team across a multitude of tasks – no day is the same!
  • You would be working alongside the sales team to grow the independent wholesale business; attending meetings, organising SMS samples and setting up the showroom ready for sell in meetings.
  • Liaising with our in-house creative team to create mailers and lookbooks to send out to customers each season.
  • Working alongside buying on weekly trade, sitting in range reviews, close working with external suppliers, and giving input into design and development of the product ranges.
  • Pulling together market and competitor research.
  • Variety of admin tasks such as PO raising, creating line lists and setting up SKUs.
  • Understanding the marketplace, regular consumer insight & analysis and feeding back into product teams.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Confident communicator reporting key information to Heads of Departments and senior management.
  • Opportunity for some travel to visit customers.
  • Close working relationship with buying, sales, design, garment tech, marketing and Ecom.

Key Skills & Experience...

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to present ideas to teams.
  • A quick learner who can process lots of information and prioritise action.
  • Experience within fashion is preferred but not essential – a passion for product and brand is essential!
  • Relevant degree preferred but not essential.
  • Clear communicator
  • Works well under pressure
  • Drive and enthusiasm, highly engaged and keen to learn and progress
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and independently
  • Highly self-motivated and dynamic individual

Working hours: Due to the nature of this role, the hours will be full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday-Friday, although a flexible approach is required. There will be the requirement to travel from time to time to meet the needs of the role.

Location: This role is based at Unit 6 Temple Point, Bullerthorpe Lane, Colton, Leeds LS15 9JL. 2 minutes off the M1 J46. There will be a requirement to travel as part of this role.
